Though I first trained as a gunsmith in Trinidad Colorado back in the eighties, I made my career as a mechanical designer and engineer. Continuing pistolsmithing as a hobby, I am a lifelong shooter and NRA member. I compete in IDPA and have won both centerfire and .22 pistol championships in my local range’s league matches. I have many relatives in Austria, home of the Glock pistol. Gottfried is the Austrian version of the name Jeffrey and that is why I picked 1gottfried for my eBay member name.
