I'm an avid fisherman, and fish when I feel like it, other than that I'm pretty much a homebody, with the best wife in the solar system. She understands me and tolerates my being a fishing fanatic. She even understands why I have three fishing boats.

A variety. Mostly fishing lures and knives but have bought other things as well, mostly unusual items. I like the lures to show use but not be in poor condition. If its an antique lure it should not be in mint condition, but show some signs of use and still maintain color. Some rust and paint crackling, small chips are ok as this shows the age of the item. I also buy some for use but not the ones I can still buy in stores. I rarely buy lures in perfect or excellent condition. Many of these are re-paints anyway, and I like my collection to show some use, that is, real antiques.

Antique lures, though funds are limited so I don't own any that are alone expensive.

Fishing, and more fishing. Small mouth bass, did I mention I like to fish. Woodworking, in general just doing stuff with my hands.

Tom Clancy novels, though I don't read too much any more.

The American President, Movies with Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks, and Jack Nicholson are almost always good.

Not much of a music person, listen to talk radio when I do.

I enjoy old vintage fishing items and other vintage/antique items. I have a collection that includes several lures, reels, and Rods. I seem to have a particular weakness for old lures with glass eyes, preferably Heddon lures. I love the old vamps, and have several of those. I also have a weakness for knives, preferably Case knives, or the older Bokers or Kissing Crane. Not interested in those made in China. I like to display my favorite items. My favorite items bought on e-bay are a baby doc Case knive with pearl handles with the medical symbol - marked no 7 of 1000 made. This is because I was in the medical corps during my tour in Nam in '67-'68. Also have a number of favorite heddon lures with glass eyes that I would have problems selecting as my most favorite. My wife has several non-sporting goods vintage items that we plan to sell in the near future.

Distribution, inventory management.

Pay pal. I rarely go to the trouble of using money orders due to the trouble and costs. If you sell by money order only its likely that I will pass your item unless it is something I really want. and do not send personal checks.

USPS almost exclusively. I package carefully. You will always think I went to too much trouble packing an item. Yeah, it is more trouble, but its worth it to have a satisfied customer. It's what I expect of other sellers also.
