Seller admitted faulty packaging then retracted weeks later as was on a vacation when I received the ridiculously poorly packaged jacket. There is a mark on it from it sticking out and the charge was significant for mailing (which I didn’t mind IF it was securely sent). The seller then said upon returning something totally different and demanded proof of the packaging from weeks earlier (knowing full well I no longer had the cheap torn plastic.) Fortunately I have a mail person who received it

The situation only got worse as she blamed the post office. Had to get a written note of witness from mailbox guy. Seller kept stalling with various tactics to address the issue. Had to get eBay involved (last resort as didn’t want to effect sellers ratings). Got half the shipping cost refunded as seller had only offered that (and I wore the jacket). Then she requests I revise the report stating she would have accepted return. Poor experience

Acknowledging an inconvenience you experienced is not the same as admitting fault for a packet being damaged during transportation. Non the less, you were accusatory and rude and did not clarify what would have satisfied you. I accepted a return even though you admitted wearing the garment, but you chose not to return the item and just complain. Thankfully, you are the only negative experience I ever had in eBay.
