I am the former owner of a children's consignment shop that was forced to close due to the economy. The overhead was just too much to maintain a physical location. To keep a money flow coming in, I'm continuing the business by utilizing the web.

My selling focus started out with children's merchandise...everything from new & gently used clothing to antique baby items. However, I have branched out into clothing for all ages! I won't limit myself...anything that is a good deal, I'll try to find a buyer!

I love to read and write! I have co-authored The Bridges of Avalon, which is a compilation of paranormal topics that my co-author and I have investigated. We attempt to bridge the gap between science and spirituality. I have worked (non-profit) as an intuitive to investigate hauntings and will occasionally take on a new case. I have also worked with a couple police departments on missing persons cases.

I primarily enjoy non-fiction. I read self-help books, paranormal books, true crime stories, and any of the works of the late Joseph Campbell (Professor of Mythology at Sarah Lawrence College).

My favorite movies include Dr. Zhivago, the black & white version of Cheaper by the Dozen, It's a Wonderful Life, The Notebook, and anything with Al Pacino in it.

My favorite music changes with my mood. I like classic rock (Beatles, Doors, Tom Petty, Jethro Tull, etc.), but will sometimes succumb to the sounds of Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, or Lorena McKennitt.

My favorite TV shows are (and were) House, Forensic Files, NBC Dateline, MSNBC Reports, X-Files, and Northern Exposure. For news, I start my day with Morning Joe and Headline News with Robin Mead. In the evening, I catch any of the following: HLN, Jane Velez-Mitchell, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Glenn Beck, and Nancy Grace.

I have always been fascinated with the spirit/mind/body connection and have studied iridology, Reiki, hypnosis, and other holistic therapies.

Mother Goose Boutique began it's physical location in 2006, but closed at the end of 2008. The economy couldn't support my new business, but I still have to make a living until (and if) I can find steady work. Therefore, I am moving forward by continuing the business on the web. Things seem to be progressing well (but slowly), and hopefully I can make this my permanent job! Being my own boss would allow me to visit my children out west when time allows. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

My gently-used items are non-refundable and sold as is. Used items will have a description of any flaws (if there are any).
