The SB28 I purchased on eBay at a reasonable cost works as advertised.
1 of 1 found this helpful The SB28 was my choice because it allowed me to set the power of the flash manually. It was one of Nikon's best and most reliable units and did not have many of the bells and whistles newer models have. It has proven to be exactly as advertised on eBay. The SB28 gives me complete control of the amount of light I want flash after flash. Newer models on auto settings don't always do that.
