I am a single mother struggling with breast cancer who is raising a child who is blind, profoundly autistic and dying of osteopetrosis.

I sell a number of things, ranging from opals to china to pens to journals. Some items are new, some are used. But all are suitable for use unless described so.

I accept Paypal. I will accept personal checks, but the buyer must understand that I will have to wait until the item has cleared before I will ship. For anyone who is actually reading this, please, please, please contact me within a day or two if you are going to send a check, or if you have to wait a few days before paying by Paypal. I hate to disappoint someone by relisting an item, but I will if I haven't heard from you within a week.

I prefer Fedex. They are reliable, fast and insured.

I try to describe items carefully and faithfully. If the buyer has a question, there is always enough time to ask them before putting in a bid, or God forbid, a Buy It Now.

The negative feedback from the purchaser of this item is very disappointing. Here is what really bothers me about the transaction. The person who posted negative feedback is not the account holder. The ebay account is held in another person's name. The verified Paypal account is held in another person's name. I can't imagine why someone would not have their own account unless there had been some past problem with either ebay or Paypal. So, I have been dinged by someone who isn't an ebay seller or buyer. The pen inks and writes. It is used, as noted in the description, and a retired body style, therefore it is a collectable. The purchaser bought it one hour after it was listed without a single question. This buyer seems to purchase items cheap for resale. At $80, this was a fair price for the item, according to Fountain Pen Hospital. A brand new, unused pen would have been well over $200. UPDATE: OFFERED REFUND FOR RETURN. WANTED TO KEEP THE ITEM AS WELL AS KEEP THE ITEM.
