Business InformationHistory/background
My wife, June Marie, and I are self taught artists that work in multiple media. We are both carvers. I do carvings that reflect a Native American or Western theme. June Marie does carvings, sculpture, paintings and jewelry reflective of western themes. Our business name is Windcarver, a name given to us by a Chickasaw elder when he saw how fast June Marie could carve. I am a Viet-nam veteran who served as a Navy Hospital Corpsman in VN. I am a songwriter and was a writer for Voice Notes Publishing of Chatanooga TN. One of my songs, Both Sides of the Wall, was sung by Louise Mandrell's group at the opening of the Viet-Nam wall.
