I love my collection of Avon Cape Cod dishes and family. I lost my complete set in a housefire in 2000. What pcs were saved were retreived by my daughters and I just looked in the boxes this April 2008 and decided to rebuild it.

Facts: Avon Cape Cod Bowls are the most susceptible to chipping on the inside edges because they are often stacked. The Avon Cape Cod collection was introduced in 1975 and 1993 last year in production were the cup and saucer, bread and butter plate, and the pie plate in 1993, over the next two yrs you could get items in stock and 1995 inventory was depleted and officially discontinued. There were some sample pcs made in flint glass (crystal)such as the Hurricane Candleholder, Saucer Champagne glass and the Water Goblet and a few sample pcs. of blue pieces have been reported.
