Magic box made my dumb television very smart...
1 of 3 found this helpful I bought this player more for the available outputs and hookups than anything else... It has made my dumb and large 72inch rear projection DVI HDTV smart merely because of it's versatility. It also has inputs and will upconvert older media such as VHS or Beta tapes to digital. The video streaming is just a bonus option that is even further enhanced with USB inputs that allow for Roku boxes and the like. Then there is the 3D Option that I don't even use... maybe someday. I however, still enjoy 3D in the old style theaters. In my opinion, there is nothing that compares in this price category.
