It does what it say, mostly
I guess it's okay if you use your phone with this. My tablet is really what I wanted it for, but it will only hold my Samsung tablet but the sides, it won't stretch out far enough to hold it by the top and bottom, so it's not as secure to hold. Also the weight makes it hard to keep it where you want it to be. The arm piece is hard to bend and get it where you want it when clipping on the headboard of your bed. Once you think you have it right and put your tablet in it, it sinks down. It is a bit frustrating. Your phone is lighter, so you have less problems.
