Evelyn (DVD,2003,Widescreen)
We liked the portrait of a man's man that the writer gave the central character. Yes, he is flawed like natural man, but rises above his nature to overcome his addiction to alcohol and finds his purpose in life through his spiritual quest. It is an above average performance by Pierce Brosnan. Our favorite part is his surprising personal testimony given while on the witness stand in court as to why he is fit to have custody of his daughter Evelyn. This is overall a very good movie.

Pick up this bargain while you still can!
For those who enjoy reading and collecting White Star Line and Titanic pieces, this is a must. Featured are many perfect reproductions of Titanic and Olympic postcards which sell for over a hundred dollars apiece if they were original. Many things included in this set would be impossible to own if they were true vintage pieces, so the next best thing are these beautiful reproduction postcards, passenger list, passenger sailing brochure, music booklet and so much more. Would make a wonderful gift for anyone interested in the Titanic.RECOMMENDED at this price!

Nova - Death Star (2006, DVD)
Usually Nova produces excellent quality documentarys like "Monster of the Milky Way." But this presentation lacks performance in visual and commentary. Nova could have made this flick better with CGI. Some of the scientists that were interviewed were eating in a diner, talking while chewing on food! At that point I was looking for eats myself and my focus on the film was gone. There was also a scientist that was being interviewed who talked very fast, continually studdered plus seemed on edge. That blow a hole in the gig for me! Dude...take a chill pill or some deep breaths or something! I suppose if you want some laughs with a poor flick rent this. By all means don't waste your money on buying this. Good subject matter but again unprofessional presentation! Nova can do much better!
