I have lived and worked out of Bali for almost twenty years. Working directly with the artisans who craft clothing and handicrafts. I met my husband Ramon in Bali in 1991 while living there. My oldest daughter Ashley grew up there. She is now 21. My youngest Sitara was born there in 1997. Since then we have spent Summers in Maine and winters in Bali. In Maine we bought my mom and dads store on the Bar Harbor road (which they opened in 1967) Which is an on going family tradition now that I am the second generation to run the business with Ramon. Mom and dad crafted and sold moccasins among other things. So we have kept alive the hand crafted nature of the business by offering the beautiful crafts we buy in Indonesia.
