They need to amplified to be appreciated.
4 of 4 found this helpful I have read review after review saying " They sounded worse / slightly better than my factory speakers, I'm just using my stock deck..." These speakers can take a beating and but need a good amp to push them. I ended up using a Kenwood KAC-M3004 that puts out 75w RMS at 2ohms. These speakers are 2 ohm stable so they are a great fit with that amp.
In addition to matching the power handling capability to the right amp you need to think about where they are going. Mine went in the door of my 1983 911SC. I installed aluminized tar sheet insulation and sealed the door up and the speakers sound GREAT!
Now if you're expecting ground shaking bass with these, you will be disappointed. You'll need a sub for your low lows. These are more of a midrange and high range set than anything. Thats not to say they don't hit, but they won't vibrate you fillings either.
As for the highs...They are infinity's. Infinity's have always been on the bright side and you may need to tune out some treble to make these work. A multi band graphic equalizer would probably get the most out of these speakers, but you can get by with your normal run of the mill deck.
All in all, for the price, these are incredibly well made, quality component speakers that should last the lifetime of your vehicle. They can and should be pushed hard. Amp 'em and TURN IT UP!

Very easy to set up and use
Just connect to a ground and a switched 12v and you're ready to go! Plays a chime when it powers up and connects. Music and volume control work seamlessly. I use mine to connect to an amp for complete wireless control of an amp in my car.
The unit itself is invaded in a very hard shrink wrap that won't allow the unit to bend or break.
The shipping on this unit was very quick as well. If a 12v Bluetooth with RCA output is what you're looking for, you've found it.
