A nice model kit of the Convair CV-440 in 1/72nd scale. Moulded in Light Grey plastic.
A nice model kit of the Convair CV-440, with a choice of extra, separate, nose cone parts to make a CV-240, a long nosed CV-340, or CV-440, or an early "Pug Nosed" Radar equipped CV-240, or CV-340 military or airliner version. As typical with many Mach 2 Airliner models, only the "Eastern" titles and logo, along with "N" number and partial Exit Door outlines decals are included. Conspicuously absent are decals for the Eastern Airlines 'Hockey Stick" Fusalage stripes. The modeler will have to use / adapt a 1/144th scale Eastern Airlines Wide Bodied Airliner model decal for the Eastern Airlines Decal Stripe.
