I am a doll addict! I love both selling and buying them. Usually selling profits go back into my collection- it is a truly vicious circle! I am a student and employee/volunteer at an animal shelter as well as an eBayer for fun and profit.

18 inch doll items are my specialty. I am most loyal to the American Girl brand, hence my username. I offer mostly new in box recent American Girl items. I also sell, collect and love Magic Attic, Carpatina, Life of Faith, Stardust Classics, Ellowyne Wilde, Souldoll BJDs & Penney and Friends. You will sometimes also find things from around my house such as clothing and textbooks.

My current buying obsession is finely detailed reproduction historical clothing for 18 inch dolls. The two sellers I buy from are buttons_and_butterflies and sdls275. Buttons and Butterflies (Karen) has the most beautiful handmade doll clothing I have ever seen. She is incredibly creative and talented and is also the most kind, special, and generous person I have met on eBay. I consider her a wonderful friend and would love for you to check out her auctions! Sdls is also a very nice and talented person. Both sellers create intricate, amazingly crafted items that are sure to last generations. Americangirlshopping! has been an 18'' doll seller since Nov. of '05. I pride myself on prompt shipment, polite service, and the ability to work through conflicts in a way that is pleasing to both parties. I believe that kindness is key and am saddened to often see people fighting on eBay. I highly value my customers and ask for the same respect and understanding.

I currently accept Paypal. I do not allow any type of mailed payment because it slows down the shipping process and induces more risk and less security for both buyer and seller. I myself have had several money orders to sellers become lost in the mail and do not care for them. Payment and/or communication is asked for within three days of auction's end. I will send out a payment reminder on the 4th day and after day 4 your item is subject to being relisted at any time, at my discretion. Unpaid Item Disputes are filed on day 7.

As you can see from my feedback, I ship as quickly as possible. Every item is shipped with a delivery confirmation number through USPS, which offers limited tracking. Paypal sends an automated shipping email when the label is printed but I will usually send you a personal email to let you know the exact time/date of shipment. Items ship either via Priority Mail or First Class. Insurance is always available. I ship within 2 business days of receiving cleared payment, barring inclement weather such as a snowstorm or an emergency. I am NOT responsible for postal delays or damage that occurs in transit. I package all items with extreme care. Due to this, I am forced to charge a very small fee on every shipment to cover my material costs.

I look all items over meticulously, however I am human and do occasionally make mistakes. Please, please contact me if there is any problem at all. If feedback is left before I am informed of an issue I cannot do anything to help resolve the situation. Returns are accepted if an item is grossly misrepresented but I must be contacted and approve the return, and I must receive the item within 7 business days. Your money will be immediately returned via Paypal, upon my receipt of item. In most cases I will not be able to pay your return shipping expenses.

All items come from a smoke free but not pet free home. Certain items are purchased at yard sales or secondhand so I occasionally may not catch all flaws. No American Girl items are from the outlet store or Madison museum sale- if they're NIB, they're new from AG! I do have pets (cats and dogs) so occasionally the stray hair may be found on an item. I am an adult collector and have no children.
