Replacement For 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 Ford Ranger Transponder Key

This key did not work
I wanted a back up key for my 2002 Ford Ranger. The key arrived in a timely manner and is brand new and uncut of course. I took it to a local hardware store and had it cut using my original key. I had both keys on the same key chain when I tested it. The key triggered the anti-theft so not only would my truck not start with it but the signal it put out was so strong thet my original key would not work either. At first I thought the reader in the truck had gone bad but when I took the new key off the key chain and only had the original, it still worked fine. I wondered how they knew the correct key to send without asking for the VIN. Obviously they don't try to match the correct key with the purchaser, they just send one. The key does open the door and will turn in the ignition in case you think the cut may have been the problem. The anti-theft light on the dash is flashing bright red when the key is in or near the ignition with the original key.

Not great
I generally expect great things from Paul Giamati. He is one of my favorite actors. This movie was basically a documentary with Giamatti acting out various scenes of the subjects life. It was casual to a fault and not terribly watchable. The subject is a famous cartoonist who was friends with and made famous by cartoonist Robert Crumb. There was an award winning documentary made of him some years ago that I highly recommend.
