Favorite Books
Power of Now, by, Eckart Tolle, . I found this book years before, Oprah, did. Right now I am reading autobiography, Mosaic, by, Amy Grant, . Certainly not a best seller but I love her talent of music & lyric writing.
Favorite Movies
I watched, Apocalypto, by Mel Gibson and liked it. Last time I went to the movies I saw Terminator. I think that was in the 80's. I don't really watch movies. I liked, Terminator, and, Terminator 2
Favorite Music/Bands
Too many to list but my very favorite song writer is, Amy Grant, I would say Amy Grant has had the largest impact on my life. I found her back in 1977 and although I didn't understand her words, I loved her immediately. I've purchased every one of her albums and CD's even though I do not agree with her religious messages. My other favorite music creators; David Foster, Carole King, Diane Warren, Keith Thomas, Angela Lashley, Dolly Pardon. Although I'm not crazy about the philosophy behind some of their songs, I love their talents. I wish Oprah would call & say Mike we have a surprise for you! I would show up and there would be Amy or Dolly or Keith or one of my favorite song writers willing to create a song with me. Now that's a Wildest Dream! I wish I had musical people in my every day life but it's just me. The few people around me couldn't be further away from being interested in music.
