apkempler is the combined efforts of my husband and myself. I personally love Ebay, it is my form of stress relief!

Things we sell the most are BOOKS! I love to collect them, and sell them! But, we sell other things too, like household items, clothing, and anything else that looks interesting to us.

I buy books, it is the most fun. I can lose myself for hours perusing used book stores, thrift stores, and library book sales. I am not big on garage sales as that requires getting up early!

I love to collect books, 1st printing hardcovers and 1st printing paperbacks, also I seem to have a large collection of coffee mugs. I love anything Gone With the Wind, as it is my favorite book of all time.

I love GWTW, as mentioned, everything by Jane Austen, All the Bronte's, Dickens especially Great Expections (seems to be my motto) All of Diana Gabaldon's fantastic novels, Judith McNaught, Nora Roberts, Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child especially Relic (the best thriller!), The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillipa Gregory, Any non-fiction history by Alison Weir, Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel, Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer

I love all kinds of music: Blues, Rock, Classical, I was addicted to Sirius Sinatra recently.

Right now, the competition shows on Bravo: Project Runway, Top Design, Top Chef, Law and Order Criminal Intent. I've watched every season of Project Runway and I love it! I also don't miss an episode of American Idol. My husband and I are big fans of 24 and Prisonbreak. We love documentary's like The Fog of war, fascinating! Also, An Inconvenient Truth, and for the surfing fans, Riding Giants.

My husband and myself currently run our own Interior Decoration business. We have done this for 14 years and it is a lot of fun creating beautiful environments. We believe strongly in excellent customer service. Through good communication and mutual respect we have a strong and loyal customer base. We strive to ensure that our customers are thoroughly satisfied with our work and services. This is something we carry over into our Ebay sales. I am continually striving to bring the best I can offer to Ebay, whether that is offering quality items, unique items or improving my listing designs.

We accept most types of payments, we prefer Paypal as that is the quickest and easiest way to get my items shipped off to the buyer. It is also so convenient for printing out shipping lables. We also accept personal checks (never had one bounce yet!) money orders and cashier checks.

We ship as soon as a confirmed payment is sent. I don't like to dilly dally on shipment, I like to get these items out quick! We use Priority, Parcel, First Class mail, and Media Mail. I love Priority as that gets the items to the buyer super fast, but everyone loves Media because it is so affordable! We also ship internationally using Global Priority (flat rate envelopes as well as variable weight)First Class International or Global Expedited and of course UPS Standard to Canada. I charge a small handling fee over the actual cost of shipping to cover costs on envelopes, mailing labels and packaging supplies.

We accept returns if the item is misrepresented in any way. If you just contact us and explain the situation you will find us to be exceptionally resonable. Sometimes we can simply arrange for a credit to be given without all the fuss of returning the item. We usually refund shipping and the cost of the item, but not the return shipping costs.

We prefer to be contacted through the messaging system on Ebay. I check my email daily and try to get back to everyone just as quickly as possible.

Ebay can be a great experience or a confusing and maddening one. through some of my bad experiences with Sellers I have learned how to be the best Seller I can be. I throughly believe in good communication. I like to inform my buyers that I have received thier payment and I like to let them know when their item will be shipping. I have bought many things on Ebay that were a complete mystery to me when I would be getting them. Packaging is very important to me and I like to add personal touches. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to me to receive a package, especially a book, floating around in a manila envelope. I really like the items I sell, and I try to package with care and consideration. Feedback is very important to me. I believe in giving everyone positive feedback unless it is completely undeserving (Ebay people are mostly great!) I really love getting feedback and seeing my numbers grow. But, I realize feedback is very personal and some do and some don't. That is O.K.

Sometimes, I cannot think of all the possible things that will describe my items. I might leave something out that is important to the buyer. I cheerfully welcome questions. Sometimes people help me out to add details or describe the items better. One time a buyer brought to my attention an error in my title as the description on sizing was confused with something else. I was completely grateful! I do try hard to be as accurate as possible. Sometimes I go overboard and describe every tiny pin head size detail! But, as a buyer myself I know I must drive sellers crazy with my numerous questions. But I find it very frustrating that more details, details that should be included, are omitted. So, this helps train me to be a better seller. So, please feel free to ask away!
