996P2 continues the tradition.
The Uniden 996P2 is the latest version of the 996XT. Physical appearance is almost identical. The new features include a new USB Port, Phase 2, and digital modes DMR and ProVoice for a fee. Multi-Color display, superb audio and fantastic analog and digital reception is what makes this scanner one of the best.
The reason for a 4 star is that it lacks NXDN mode.

Compact scanner full of features.
1 of 1 found this helpful One of my favorite scanners. This scanner easily fits into any large pocket and makes it the the best portable scanner. This scanner has a very good balance of sensitivity in all modes. A real bonus is the ability to add DMR . The display is very easy to read even when mobile. Audio is loud enough and with little distortion at higher levels . Key pad layout is simple enough to operate but lacks backlit keys. The 325P2 is powered by two AA batteries and I get about 4-6 hours on a set of alkalines. Now here is something that takes this scanner to the next level , it's a programming and computer controlling software called ProScan. So simple to use that you can operate most functions with a click of the mouse. On a scale of 1-10 I give the 325P2 a 9. It's a proven scanner with so much to offer .

3 of 4 found this helpful After using the RX10 a couple years ago I found that it was one of my favorite cameras. Keeping up with technology and features I tried the Sony a6300, Panasonic Z1000,Panasonic Z2500,and the Sony RX100MK IV. None of them could check all the boxes to match the RX10 MK II. Some of the most important features I was looking for was, HSS on and off camera , slow motion , smooth zoom, nice grip and bright lens with fast focus.
Another fantastic feature is the downloadable in camera apps . I love the timelapse ,multi-exposure, motion shot and touchless shutter apps. There is about 20+ apps available ,some free and some that cost a small fee. Once purchased you can use that app on other Sony cameras like the a6000,a6300 or RX100 series.
