Shabby Vintage Jars
Use any jar you like: salsa, spaghetti sauce, jelly, salad dressing, etc. Just clean and remove the labels first.
1. Prime and paint lid. I use spray Kilz and 2 oz. craft paint, light pink for shabby jars. Of course, you can use any color you like.
2. Use rubbing alcohol on the jar and let it dry. This removes the oils on the glass surface so the labels will stick!
3. Print out your label. I do sell some in my store but you can use any label.
4. Laminate the label with packing tape if it is smaller than 2 inches or clear contact paper if it is larger than 2 inches. Seal the label back and front with laminate; so when you wash your jars, water will not touch the paper.
