I have two policies. Honesty and feedback. As a seller once you pay I leave you a positive. My pos feedback is not contingent on whether the buyer leaves one. If he/she pays and in a timely fashion they get it.
As a buyer I don't give feedback to any seller first. I'm not padding any seller's feedback if he she didn't find me worthy of feedback once my part of the transaction was complete. I don't buy into that you give me a pos I give you one. It's that whole cover your a$$ mentality. If you are an honest seller then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. If you get a negative then maybe you deserved it. If you didn't just add a little note under it and your buyers will forgive you.
I'm so tired of reading these listings where all they talk about is their policy and how they will leave you a negative in a threatening tone. They forget to describe the item! For them I don't bid. If I ask a seller a ? and never hear back I don't bid. You obviously have too much on your plate.

Shipping information
I usually ship the same day if you pay before 8am. If not I ship the next day.
Return policy
The return policy really depends on what I'm selling. If it's clothing you may return the item for a full refund provided it's in the same condition in which you received it. If I sell you a sealed DVD or CD you can get a full refund if it's returned sealed minus your shipping. If I sell an opened CD or DVD I have a no-return policy on those unless they are badly scratched in which case I don't sell them. All of my CDs and DVDs are surface mark free. I love communication.
Bid Cancellation
I love communication. If you change your mind and want to cancel your bid I will cancel your bid, no questions asked.
Feedback
I don't really believe in leaving negative feedback unless someone is a total crook. I don't have a threatening policy on deadbeat bidders. Things happen in life and sometimes you can't get to a computer for a week. I allow 14 days to pay to allow for payday to come but I do like to know ahead of time when you will pay. If I don't hear from you within three days after the auction end, I relist the item. No negative feedback. I just relist it. What good does a negative do me or you? I just move on. Why raise a fuss? If you can't or won't pay so what? Ebay gives you your insertion fee back if you relist, sell then file an unpaid item dispute.
