Livingston Street Décor was born out of my love of all things “old.” The older and more time worn, the better. I suppose it’s hereditary. I have an aunt who seems to suffer from the same “disease.” As a child, my mom took me along to auctions, yard sales and flea markets. I guess at some point, I merged my moms love of a bargain with my aunts love of antiques and threw in my own love of decorating for good measure. I have found that this can be a “deadly combination.” After all, how many vintage tablecloths can one girl own? Sixty five in case you were wondering. How many 1950’s cake plates and pitchers do I really need? For the record, four pitchers and 3 cake plates. You get the idea. Somewhere in my quest for antiques and vintage items, I found that I could find great second hand pieces to decorate my home with, at a fraction of the cost of “brand new” items. Livingston Street Décor allows me to keep “treasure hunting” even though my house is full.

Items sold on our site are vintage and or “gently used.” They are usually purchased at estate sales, tag sales and auctions. Vintage items are rarely perfect. Most lovers of vintage items find flaws to be part of the items charm and history. I will try to identify any stains, flaws, cracks, chips, or wear in description of each item.
