All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
Hi,
I guess I am here to let any prospective buyer know that while this is indeed a relatively new eBay account, when I have items listed I try to manage them as if they are the most important things in my life. I am proud to be a responsible eBayer
Things I sell
I am looking to get into a steady flow of collectibles ranging the gamut of my personal interests,
but eventually specializing 18th and 19th century antiques,
including glass,
dinnerware and whatever else I may find. I love art glass and pottery and plan to deal high end in that market,
and develop a great eBay clientele. I will purchase and sell any quality collectible I can find,
if I am convinced that there's a real market for it. I hate junk and try at all costs to not list items I wouldn't pay a buck for myself. I do have one proviso,
however: I plan to survive on eBay without ever listing a barbie doll,
purse,
or smurf action figure. I have my standards LOL! I have ready access to Roman,
medieval and near eastern antiquities,
with an emphasis on roman coins,
both imperial and provincial. I have a friend with eastern European and Asian connections. If you are at all interested in ancient antiquities,
keep a watch on my profile because we are about to enter this market,
full force Things I collect

Provincial roman coins,
ancient antiquities,
primitives,
vintage pop art,

art glass,
art pottery,

InterestsHobbies
I raise and train quarter horses here in upstate New York,
and am fascinated with and by ancient history,
particularly from the first persons view (Tacitus,
Ceasar,
Pliny,
Herodotus,
Josephus,
Zenophon et.al...
What really gets me amped? Well it's attending auctions as much as any of the above. I love the atmosphere,
and I love the challenge. You have to admit,
you are hanging your money on the line each time you HOPE you are buying what it is you think you are buying,
and for a price that makes eBay a margin earner. You want to cry when you discover that the $300 item you just bought sells all day long on ebay for $250,
you want to scream when you realize it's broken and/or missing a key part or element. Who hasn't done their homework and still messed up?
Either way,
I am from here on in going to be doing full time what it is that I like best,
and that's going to be to finding a way to support myself by selling quality items (of greater or lesser value),
and dealing straight up Favorite Books

Business InformationHistory/background
/ A former career as a Nationwide Insurance agent and general Broker in both personal and commercial lines.
Presently I wish to stay here on the farm with my horses and family and indulge myself in what I love most: attending auctions and trying to recognize at least enough of a margin so that I may indulge myself by being able to attend more auctions LOL!
Payment policy
We accept any form of payment provided we agree to it first, while we recognize the importance and convenience of accepting paypal. we will gladly accept personal checks, or money orders with prior approval. In order for us to accept a check or money order, and as per eBay rules you, the buyer, must request it. It should be no problem at all. In the event of a personal check, it must be drawn on the buyers personal account. And please recognize, of course, that any item payed for in such a manner will be shipped promptly only after the funds have cleared our account.
Shipping information
Generally we will ship either flat rate or priority through the USPS. However from time to time an item due to its nature may require a different method and we will list accordingly. If a prospective buyer has a request we may consider it. Please note any fragile item we sell will require insurance, and additionally we may choose to require insurance on high end items simply to cover both ourselves and as well you, the prospective buyer. We won't haggle on insurance, if A buyer flat out refuses to purchase or balks at paying $1.70 for a $500.00 Handel Shade or such, you can count we will be paying for it ourselves. We're gonna slap it on and eat it, I guess you might say.
