I am originally from Louisiana and New Orleans is my adopted hometown - meaning I am comfortable with good food and wine, jazz, rhythm and blues, eclectic art, tropical foliage, unique architecture, and Mardi Gras.

We hope you feel comfortable buying pre-owned items rather always buying new items which require resources and energy to manufacture. We try to reuse shipping materials that come into our community and hope you can reuse the materials we send to your home again. If not, we hope that there are recycling facilities in your community. We hope you appreciate not having to buy gas or bus passes or subway tokens to shop and take advantage of what we offer here.

Aunt Kat's Attic was started in the summer of 2009 as a way to partially fulfill my desire to own my own craft and re-sale store. The community in which I live has a thriving re-sale market in which I would like to fill a niche. Alas, I have no money to buy a building and repair that building. I feel lucky to live in this age of internet commerce. If I build it (a business), maybe the location will come. I actually love sending packages so this is good! The name of my business is from one of my neices. When she was a toddler, she couldn't say Kathryn and called me Kat - hence Aunt Kat!

Paypal only online. If item picked up, I accept cash.

I ship using the US Postal Service. Shipping for 2 or more purchases can usually be combined. Many of my books and movies are inexpensive so you can make your own lot. Request an invoice to combine shipping for 2 or more puchases made at the same time. Purchases are almost always mailed within 24 hours of payment, but please allow me three days for shipping. Items paid for on Friday will be shipped on Monday. I ship around the world! For shipping out of the United States, please contact me to verify shipping costs before bidding or buying.

Returns accepted. I want my customers to be 100% satisfied. To avoid having returns, though, I write good descriptions. If you have questions before you purchase, I respond quickly to e-mails. I am a consumer, too, and know you want to spend your money wisely. I would not sell something I would not use myself or have a family member use. I do not reimburse for shipping either way.
