Spend $20 more to avoid this waste of money.
Buy a Lenovo Tab 4. If you get one on sale, it is only about $20 more and the build quality is better, the UI isn't sluggish, and the brand is one you can trust. This iRulu tablet was too slow to actually use. It took hours to set up and even after that (and removing all bloatware), it was unusably slow.

Garmin Nuvi 260W GPS
I had a chance to try this out the day of Christmas after giving it to my dad, when we drove out to visit relatives. The device itself is much cleaner than the other Garmins and the wide screen is great! My dad specifically commented that the wider screen was of use to him because he doesn't have perfect vision. The directions were clear and the device was able to locate satellites quickly. The maps were all up to date, and we had no problems getting anywhere. For anyone who is looking for a great GPS (with text-to-speech) at an affordable price, I definitely recommend the Garmin Nuvi 260W.
