My husband and I are owned by our cats, Licorice and Sarah. Hence the name of my store - Barb's Cat House. Funny how people always remember that!

I sell mainly crafts and fabric. Crafts are needlepoint, cross stitch, crewel and other embroidery. Fabric may be NEW cotton as well as other items from my personal stash.

Spay and neuter your pets! Teach children how to read and enjoy reading! Take time to just stop and enjoy silence once in awhile! Be happy to be with yourself.

I am currently unemployed, but am looking for a part time job - still haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up. But, then again, maybe I'll decide to never COMPLETELY grow up. So many of you have expressed concern for Licorice - the black cat who has graced my eBay pages from the beginning. He is in remission from nasal cancer - a VERY expensive process, but my husband and I consider him part of the family, so we just up and paid it. Thank goodness it seemed to have worked. We are now working through some digestive issues with him - giving a Cat a Pill ain't as easy as it looks in the books! I want to thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. Licorice would thank you too, but he's face down in his dinner right now.
