All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I buy and sell things online for a hobby. I think the world is a very interesting place and that the internet breaks down barriers enormously. I currently live in Japan.

What is the picture of?
This picture is one I took of some antique hair ornaments that I saw in a tiny cafe in the Japanese Alps. They have the most amazing inlay work. They only measure about 14 millimeters across the end, so you can imagine how delicate the work is.

Shipping information
Most of my shipping is international. I usually use Express Mail. All items are packed as compact as possible. I always use a trackable system of registered mail for to meet PayPal requirements for buyer protection. If the item is very high value, I will send it either EMS (Express Mail Service) or Registered Airmal. I often use a combination of clean recycled materials for packaging - why create demand for new bubble wrap when it is easy to recycle? I ship twice a week.
I always insure high value items for the full sale value and enclose a copy of the paypal receipt. When an item travels by mail, it's important to have it fully protected for insurance. I put the receipt in because, the Customs Office in the country of destination may charge customs duties. If there is no paperwork, they will make their own market assessment of the value, which could be higher than the actual sale price. I always right the sale price. Please don't ask me to do this because it is illegal.
Return policy
Items sold are as is and are non-returnable. I am absolutely confident of all items I sell. I am a very experienced vintage item collector and I only collect and sell genuine items. In addition, most of my sales are international. The cost of international shipping is higher than domestic and takes longer. Please look carefully. What you see is what you will receive. If you find that it is not exactly what you needed, then sell it and buy something you do want! That's what happens in an auction environment.
My view on fake products
I would never sell a fake product. Recently a buyer accused me of selling a fake. The buyer said that a Chanel Staff member TOLD THEM it was a fake. This is untrue and the item was and is genuine and was never returned to me.
By company policy, Chanel do not give over the counter statements on authenticity. I will not recognize a verbal opinion. The only way true evidence Chanel offer is if you lodge the item for repairs. They will send it to the factory repair shop for checking. If the factory deems it fake, a note returns with it. I have had numerous items in my personal collection repaired by Chanel and I know exactly how the system works to protect Chanel's high standards of luxury items.
Feedback
I always leave feedback for buyers. If you have any concerns please follow the recommended eBay protocol and contact me before leaving feedback. I think the star rating system can be useful and I usually check out a sellers stars before buying. However, the star ratings used by eBay are much stricter than usual systems. eBay expects sellers to average very high star rating. So before you leave feedback, please review the listing and compare my service against what you read.
Do the words and the photos match the item?
Did I keep you informed about progress?
Was your item postmarked when I said it would be? (eBay standard is 7 days)
Were the shipping charges reasonable allowing for postage and insurance and small materials costs?
You are not required to leave stars or feedback if you do not wish to. Using feedback fairly gives sellers confidence in buyers and gives buyers confidence in sellers.
