I'm a non smoker with a passion for fabric. I love quality fabric whether it is vintage or brand new. I enjoy finding lovely things for resale. I used to do the antique shows from Brimfield to Marburger Farms, been selling things for 35 years now.

Quality, I sell quality. Whether the item has tags or not, I am offering it because it is better quality than average. I don't do average, I only do better than that at the very least, often offering the very best there is anywhere. Very well made quality bed linens and superior quality clothing are the things I like to sell now, although I've sold everything from kitchen collectibles to men's tools. I prefer to wash everything that I offer for sale. I buy the things I sell on ebay. I am not a smoker but the person who owned the thing previously could have been, so if I wash the item I am listing, then I know for sure that it smells nice and it is ready for you to use.

I buy anything that looks like exceptional quality and in new unused condition if the price is reasonable. Because I have spent so many years fooling with fabric, I know what works. I only buy things that I expect to be put into the washer and dryer and be used in a regular way and for a person to expect this thing to last and look really good for a long time to come. That is one benefit of buying something 'previously owned' because you get to see what the item looks like after it has been washed. I am pretty sure we've all had that experience where we've washed something and got something entirely different out of the washer - not fun! I am fortunate enough to be within driving distance of a very well run establishment, a tight ship, and am able to get a variety of items. I only ever buy things that appear to be brand new and of superior quality. The things 'call' to me as I go along.

I have had so many different collections over the years, and they grew and ebbed and grew to a point where I was completely engulfed. I had to tidy my parents' houses and my brothers' houses when they passed away. I vowed not to do that to my kids. It took some time but now I happily collect miniature plants for my bonsai garden outside and kitchen items made in England and Germany. At one time I was the queen of English enamelware at the antique shows. I have and collect this as well because no pieces ever show up. Also, things made in England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales. Again, very easy to collect because I rarely find anything!

Antiques dealer concentrating on English goods, specializing in kitchen and storage containers, enameled bread bins, as well as stained glass windows. Also, very experienced secretary working with a brilliant packaging engineer who fixed packaging machines making like, yogurt cups and sealing them. It was interesting, exciting and fun. Best part of all, I have three kids, all of them great. I am one happy camper.
