An inveterate browser of thrift stores, yard sales, garage sales, flea markets, and estate sales.We live in a small Texas town on ten acres,with a flock of chickens, a garden,and have my own housecleaning business.Married for 42yrs.,one grandson.

I edit things I have collected over the years by selling them on Ebay, so that I can buy more. When I find something I love, I buy it and get pleasure from listing it and learning that someone out there also loves it. My profits pay our taxes and insurance.

I love anything old, and look for handcrafted things, funky things, folk artsy things, and just about anything I find that looks like it has a history. Some of my finds may have a chip, crack, or a bit of damage, but to me the flaws add to the history.

I am a compulsive worker, so in the little spare time I can find, I read, walk Ruby, whose photo appears on this page, garden, talk to my chickens, and watch the birds, including the quail which live in our yard, hummingbirds, and other birds that come to our feeders. I frequent all the area thrift stores, estate sales, and yard sales, and on week-ends like to hit a fea market if I can.

Cook books, non-fiction, any sort of archaeology, and natural history.

The last two movies I saw in a theatre were, 2001, A Space Odyssey, which I hated and Midnight Cowboy.

I listen to blues on CD's when driving. Favorites are Buddy Guy, RL Burnside, BB King, etc.

World's Deadliest Catch. Used to love American Chopper, but our cable company dropped that channel, Antiques Roadshow, Ice Road Truckers, and I watch a lot of shows on the Discovery channel.
