The packaged arrived quickly. The item is well wrapped in multiple wrappers. The lens itself works very well, actually is much better than the description. A very smooth transaction. Thank you very much!

Great lens for the price
I figure that if Canon's going to put out a near-identical lens this fall, it means someone's doing something right. I've had the OS and non-OS versions of this lens and loved them both. Solid build, easy zooming. Focus can be a bit noisy, but not too bad. OS is longer-running per use than Canon's IS, but if there's significant battery drain, I can't find it. Lens is more than sharp enough for my purposes. I would recommend looking for ones selling in the $300 to $350 range new. Over $400, and you might as well consider a Nikon or Canon equivalent.
