digital tv, hdtv monitor, vga display headphone jack
this tv does it all. the review title has the details, and it plays dvd's, too. the remote lets you view it from a distance, and the headphone jack lets you use it up close with your computer. the menu accessable lets you choose the input, and scan for local channels, etc. the cabinet on mine is black shiny plastic, as is the stand. it does not have wall attachment connections. the dvd goes into a slot on the right side. i liked the picture on the tuner and the dvd, but did not connect the satellite hdmi box. i got it from an electronics reseller who probably got it from Best Buy as a customer return. it was missing a screw for the stand, but to me it is beautiful and new. except for the plastic stand, it is flawless and a complete modern display gem.

hundreds of free albums, but would you buy them ?????
i have bought several ipods, and after changing the battery, they come to life with the seller's music. 4th generation classics only offer a choice of erase the music and sync to your own computer's music, or listen to what music it came with. this 5th generation classic allowed adding its contents to my music, except for itunes purchases. it even had 10.2 gigs of music stored as a file on disc. but it had a broken cable to the lock button. you can buy these as a gamble on the type of music they hold, but if you do that, are you really into music? these ipods are great if you want to copy your cd's onto your coputer using itunes, and then carry hundreds of albums in your shirt-pocket, yo listen to on headphones, car radio, or home stereo.

music for rich people
i bought an ipod cheap on ebay, and found out it is a contract between me and apple computers to buy copies of songs from them to play on my computer or the portable music player, the actual ipod. i can't get music for it from anywhere else, as far as i know. if you pass it on to someone else, they have to erase your music to listen to what they buy on their computer. also, it works on either macs, or windows pcs, but have to be re-programmed at each switch. the cables are different for older models. your best luck, ebayer, is to get one that already has your type of music on it, and skip synching with itunes (apple's store). an older model will probably need a battery. best buy's cables will cost you as much as the ipod you buy on ebay. in summary, cool but costly.
