Reading, Reviewing Books, Walking the Beach at Sunset, Camping, Hiking, and Swimming. As well as overcoming cancer and the disabilities cancer treatment has caused. Beverly currently struggles with spinal cord degeneration and pain, but does not allow it to get her down. She continues to love reading romance books and promoting authors. Nothing like reading a good romance on the beach or pool side in my back yard! It's hard to stay put when you live in paradise. Since moving from up north to the warmer weather, Beverly's health is slowly improving and hopes one day to not have to walk with a cane. But it's a sexy cane! As of September 29, 2009 Beverly had a 4th spinal cord surgery, which so far, in this early recovery period, seems to have been successful in that Beverly regained some feeling in her left leg. She is now slowly recovering using a walker and getting ready to start physical therapy, as well as newly diagnosed hypothyroidism....but mean to overcome that as well! Ebay store curren

Anything historical romance, especially featuring the Regency Period in England. BBC mini-series are great! Pride and Prejudice with Kiera Knightly and Matthew MacFadyen is stunning! Phantom of the Opera with Gerard Butler is beautiful! Dirty Dancing is one of my favorite more contemporary romances (hang in there Patrick!....praying for you!) Other contemporary romances: The Wedding Date! Sweet Home Alabama! Legal Attraction! Older, classic romanceses like This Property Is Condemned with Robert Redford and Natalie Wood, Giant, old 50s and 60s romantic movies are enjoyable.

Country and Classical Music, as well as rock and pop. I'm very eclectic in my music listening! Love to listen to Jimmy Buffet and Steel Drum music while floating in the pool with a margarita!

Not a TV watcher very much, but when I do; I love The Roloffs on TLC, and am an avid Dog the Bounty Hunter fan on A&E; also The Beast and the new The Exterminators is interesting and fun. Go Billy!, the evening Fox News line up and baseball - love the Chicago White Sox (born and raised on the south side of Chicago) and Tampa Bay Rays (where I recenty retired to). Beverly is frequently reading or walking the beach on the Gulf of Mexico where her house is located. There is nothing better than living with my husband in paradise and walking on the beach by our ocean side home and watching the sunsets, swimming in our pool or sipping wine in the jacuzzi or sitting by the yard firepit if the evening temperature falls near a low of 50 in the winter. Most of the time, the weather is as gorgeous as the scenery, beaches, and excellent restaurants in the area. So it is difficult to stay in the house and watch TV!

Beverly Romance Books began in March 2005 after Beverly retired from Oncology Nursing to fulfill a dream she had while in cancer treatment 12 years ago; to have a romance bookselling business.
