We have been collecting and studying antiques, art, books, and collectibles for over thirty years. We are especially interested in old postcards, photos, books, and artwork.

Occassionally we will feature unique artwork by the emerging outsider artist Peter Gumaer Ogden who is making original artwork again after a 25 year hiatus. Ogden was born in South Carolina and raised on his paternal grandparents' ancestral dairy farm near Middletown, N.Y. His Huguenot ancestor Pierre Guimar was a patentee of the Peenpack Patent in Orange County, N.Y. in 1689. His Ogden and Tryon ancestors were both Tories and Patriots during the American Revolution. Ogden began drawing and painting at a very early age and was inspired by his mother's classical art studies. In the early 1970's Ogden attended the Antilles School in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. In 1975 he graduated from the George School, a Quaker academy, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In 1977 Ogden studied at the University of Miami Coral Gables subsequently transferring to Bucknell University. In 1978 Ogden lived in Florence, Italy where he studied Italian Renaissance Art in depth with other Bucknellians
