11-1-08 Greetings and salutations from wet & rainy So. Cal. Well, my rental dilemma is almost over. $10K invested to refurbish and replace broken, damaged, destroyed and taken walls, doors, etc. New tenants are just waiting for carpeting and tile to get installed, so, God willing, they'll be able to move in next week. October 2, 2008. Good day to all of my Ebay friends. As many of you are aware, I had a deadbeat renter who skipped out on September rent and had left me with almost $10K worth of damage, trash, large appliances, garbage and damage. I am financially half-way to paying the contractors, but still have another $6K to go. For those of you sellers that I have been tardy in getting prompt payment to you, I apologize. I am normally timely and prompt, but this sudden expenditure of repair bills has set me back financially. I thank and appreciate all of you sellers who are patient with me and who are working with me in getting payments later than normal. I promise that I'll "ante up" very very soon. June 5, 2008 Good day to all. I have not been selling or buying for awhile as I have had a very sad incident happen in my family- My dearest older sister, Robin, passed away on May 29, 2008, at 9:20 a.m. She was only 57 years old. Our family is very, very sad, as she was a sweet, caring, unselfish individual, who took better care of others than herself. She had C.O.P.D. for the past 6 years, and the Lord decided it was time to put her out of her pain and misery and took her Home to His Kingdom. We are finding a bit of peace knowing that we all have an amazing Guardian Angel watching over us. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers...Debbie "bigstardog"

May 10, 2008. Greetings fellow ebayers. Bigstardog here...the Ebay gods have placed a HOLD/BLOCK on my account due to fees past due for a month. I guess the ebay gods like to exert extreme power and control because not only did they block my account, I can't get into it AT ALL! I am making this entry as a 'guest'! Garage sales and yard sales and taking out adds in newspapers is looking pretty financially attractive right now! At least the newspaper doesn't exert godlike power and control over a person! For crying out loud, the ebay and paypal fees are exhorbant enough without them exerting control by blocking a seller/buyer from even accessing their account. If I was delinquent for 3 or more months, I could understand the ebay/paypal blockage OR, simply not allow me to bid on items, but ALLOW me to at least get into my account. But NOOOOOO, ebay gods say NO, NO ENTRY, MUST BLOCK....MUST GET MONEY FROM BIGSTARDOG THAT WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED FOR A MONTH...UGH! Peace out.....
