We love to sell Antique and vintage items. We have an Antique Store in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and sell most of our items locally. The thing is, we find treasures faster than we can sell them, and some things need to find just the right person, so we list them on eBay for all to see. We handle Estate sales as well. This leads us to handling items of value that are not antique... so you will see all sorts of things for sale in our listings. We aim to sell quality, the unusual, the funky stuff too. Check out our listings and come back often to see what else we have been fortunate to find. We love the HUNT, and we get to share it with you!

Primarily vintage and antique items, but if its offbeat, unusual, or rare, I'm interested. This business is my passion, but I support my family with it as well, if it's profitable without being immoral, illegal, or harmful then I'll take a look.

I learned a valuable lesson from another local business owner. He buys and sells things as well. Once he has owned something, he has owned it forever. He does not need to keep it, part of the passion is now to pass it on to a new owner... I do collect things, but collecting has taken on a different meaning for me now, passing them on can be a large part of the enjoyment of finding the treasures.

Hobbies? THIS is my hobby, who had time for anthing else?

I grew up surrounded by Antiques. My parents were collectors, my Grandparents bought and sold, my Great Aunt had an Antique store, even my Great Grand Parents got into the act by finding things for my Grandparents. It was a natural progression for me to go from being a collector to selling Antiques. I started the business as a part time hobby, with one eye on the future. The potential did seem remote at the time, it is not an easy way to make a living. Through long term planning, luck and providence here I am. I love it and can not imagine doing anything else.

We work hard to keep the costs down. We use recyled materials such as boxes and packing material from our neighbouring businesses. This is better for the environment and saves money as well. We do the packing for free, no labour or materials charges unless we have to buy something like shipping tubes or padded mailers. We are careful when packing, we want it to arrive intact. Please let us know if we can improve on what we do.

We have a generous return policy. Let us know if you have any problems and we will work with you. As long as the sale was not for an AS-IS item, you can return the item within one week. Use a similar return method (if it was sent to you trackable and insured, return it that way) Don't upgrade the shipping unless you are willing to cover the extra cost. If the item was significantly different than what was described, we will even pay for the shipping both ways. Remember, don't clean the item, we mark what we sell and if the ID is removed, we will not issue a refund.
