We started our business Smith Technologies, LLC, over 10 yrs ago in our apartment by working on our families' and friends computers. Word spread and we were working on their friends computers and their friends computers. My son has been using computers since he was 2 yrs old and his love of computers grew and developed just as my fascination with computers had. Our son works with us and since my disability he makes a lot of the house calls in my place. My husbands' fascination with computers came with his interest in online gaming and being married to me. We put our love and interest of computers together and bore our company with tears, sweat, determination and a lot of hard work.

Outside of Ebay we accept cash, check, money order and of course Paypal. We also offer our customers a payment plan as well as a layaway option. A minimal down payment is required and regular partial payments are due after that. We understand that during this current state of finances not everyone is sitting on a pile of cash and they should not be penalized and denied a new computer or an upgraded or repaired computer system. We will work with our customers as much as possible - trust and honesty go a long way here.

Orders, jobs are shipped upon full payment via UPS or USPS for an approximate shipping fee plus handling charge. If we find that the shipping charge is less than charged we refund the difference minus our handling fees. If we find that shipping was more than what was quoted to you we absorb those fees ourselves.

Returns are accepted for DOA (dead on arrival) or items that have not been opened within 15 days with prior notification and approval from us. With the sensitivity of computer parts it is not feasible to accept returns on opened items or items that have been sold as-is. There will be a 15% re-stocking fee for items that are returned un-opened within the defined time period. Returns that are claimed to be DOA will be inspected by us prior to being refunded. Items that are found to be in working order will be returned to the customer at their expense.
