All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I am very strict with my buyer feedback and hold each seller to the highest standards. Honesty is everything to me as a buyer, so don't state things in your auction that you wont stand buy, it will result in negative feedback 100% of the time.
Business InformationBuyer & Seller Feedback on eBay
In general, I only leave feedback first if I am the seller (as it should be). Once a customer honors the auction contract (payment is made) there is no other criteria by which to judge that person. Therefore, feedback is left immediately upon receiving payment. On the other hand, buyer feedback is determined by a customer's satisfaction with the seller's shipping speed, honesty, communication, and the quality of the product being purchased. As such, buyer feedback should be delayed until they've had a chance to fully test the merchandise. There are so many sellers on eBay who hold buyers hostage (or blackmail them) by refusing to leave feedback unless the customer does first. This is wrong and leads to many false reviews of a seller's performance. eBay needs to fix this as the feedback system was meant to protect consumers, not hold them hostage. I believe when someone makes a purchase on eBay, positive feedback should be automated as long as payment was made within 48 hours.
