My name is Darla and I love creating custom pet ID tags. It's so much fun to see the many different pet names. Some of them make me laugh. :)

I started selling pet tags after my dog Sherlock disappeared. A neighbor found him and contacted us - even though Sherlock didn't have an ID tag. Since I already had an engraving machine for a trophy business, I started selling pet tags. My main objective is to help pet owners get identification on their dog or cat. If it helps get one pet returned to it's owner - I'm happy :) I hope no one ever has to go through what I did with Sherlock. I've added stainless steel and brass tags to the aluminum I started with. Plus, nylon collars, leashes and TOYS!

I spoil my furr babies with all kinds of toys. My 4 cats have such varying personalities that I try to buy mixtures of toys. A toy with catnip provides a very entertaining evening at my house :) My dog, Buddy is HOOKED on tennis balls! I also buy shipping supplies, candles, and all sorts of goodies on Ebay.

Pet Pictures - everytime a customer buys from me, I ask them if they can email me a picture of their pet. I print them out and hang them on the wall of my office. It's a wonderful conversation piece and I get so much pleasure from seeing the pets I'm helping to protect. Old stamps, silver bars and I have almost every assignment my kids received back from their teachers while they were growing up.

I attend church regularly, read books and magazines, shop for interesting items on Ebay, watch my children play sports, and I like trading! In my local area, I'm always trading pet tags and collars for homemade candles, notepads and all kinds of goodies.

I know that no matter how hard I try, I cannot please everybody all the time. No two people are alike and we have different ideas. This is what makes us special. God created us to be unique individuals. I'm not perfect - only Jesus Christ was created perfect. Professionally trained engraver/designer. I first engraved with a manual machine in 1978. I purchased the trophy shop I worked at, I upgraded to computerized engraving systems and took several classes over the years to become a certified professional engraver. I use the best equipment in the industry and apply the designing skills I learned over the years. I've made awards for movies stars, country music singers, the governor of Georgia and one of my awards was featured in a Shoney's commercial. To date I've received over 150 emails from customers telling me how the ID tag I created for their pet helped get their pet back home safely. This means the world to me.
