We also sell complete machines when ever possible. We buy complete drycleaning and on-premise laundry plants in New England and New York that need to be dis-assembled. Usually a lost lease or death will perpetuate the removal of a drycleaning plant however,unfortunatly in today's economy many folks just can't carry on anymore. In all of these circumstances the equipment is operational when the items are removed.

boston_auctions has gone through a few changes over the years on eBay. We have fine tuned our focus to the drycleaning and on-premise laundry industry in which we have many years of experience as plant operators, installers and service technicians.

Personal/business checks, Paypal or money orders. Also, cash in person. We DO NOT accept credit cards. This helps us keep our costs down. Personal/business checks do not delay shipping if you have a good eBay feedback rating and history. If a check doesn't clear the bank we give the issuer 10 days to make it good, if it doesn't clear the second time then we will either sell it to a bill collector or list it here as an auction item on eBay.

All items are usually shipped the business day following receipt of the payment. We use USPS Priority mail for most items and UPS for items weighing over 35 lbs. We are trying to offer freight for the items that require it however, for now the auctions will note that the seller must initiate the bill of laden. We can load with our fork truck when your carrier arrives. Also, we do not charge for palleting most items, if there is a charge for palleting it will be noted in the auction.

We only accept returns if the item description is inaccurate. Machines that require specialized installation will have the return policy listed in the auction. Although it has never happened, we would pay for a qualified service tech to repair the item at your location. Certain conditions apply, please read the auctions.

We have a personal quest to raise awareness and money for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). After we strip a machine the scrap is recycled and the proceeds are donated to sponsor people that walk in the annual MS walks in Boston and Worcester Massachusetts. This includes all of our light and heavy steel (Iron),stainless steel and copper.
