The Alltel MOTOKRZR K1m: Small Phone, Big Features
This phone is another slam dunk for Motorola and Alltel. Taking the RAZR V3c/m to a whole new level. The quality and reliablity of Motorola phones has not gotten smaller but the size of the phone has. While getting narrower, the phone has taken on some new features that the razr didn't have, the most notable one is the external MP3 controls are easy to use, aswell as work and look great. With 40 MB of built-in memory, there is plenty of space, but if that's not enough for you, the phone can take up to a 1 GB MicroSD Card allowing you to store all your favorite MP3's, pictures, and videos. The phone's reciever sensitivity is excellent for the phones design, allowing you to make calls on network fringe areas. With EV-DO rev. 0 (Network Availablity may not be everywhere) it enables you to access great broadband exclusive content using the Axcess service (additional services required). The bluetooth options on this phone are great. Allowing you to send and recieve pictures, video, sounds, and vCards aswell as print pictures, contact information, text and mms messages directly from your phone to any bluetooth enabled printer. Camera quality is excellent, when set on high, you will won't be disapointed when you transfer pictures from your phone to your computer. Having used this phone for about 5 weeks, I was greatly satisfied with the preformance and features of the phone. Never having a problem with anything. The MP3 Player was easy to use and the sound quality when using the headphones or just the built-in speaker was great. While the phone may be small, do not be fooled, it comes with many features that are bound to satisfy even the most picky of consumers.

The Definition of What a Phone Should Be
In writing this review I would hope that it will help you in deciding what phone to get when it comes to your next purchase. I have owned this phone for about 2 years and have loved every moment. There are some problems with the phone but the pro's of the phone equalize this and then some. The phone has the best reciever sensitivity on the market to date. The interface is quick and easy to use. When using the Verizon Wireless version you will of course find that the bluetooth can only function with headsets and not preform any file transfers. This can of course by fixed with what are called seem edits. These seem edits can enable the Multimedia Studio through Motorola Phone Tools and allow you to copy pictures and sounds to and from your phone. The text messaging has an issue that was never corrected in the Verizon Flash but US Cellular and Alltel don't have this issue. When you are texting the phone can randomly freeze up, reboot and be fine again until you send about another 25-30 messages and it will repeat the process. This can be annoying but I feel the phone is worth keeping, especially because of the poor coverage in certain areas that I travel to. If you are feeling a little daring and have this phone for Verizon or are planning to purchase it, it is possible to place the Alltel flash on the phone and use complete bluetooth functionality (OPP and OBEX are enabled). The text messaging issue is also not present. It also have ringer ID's set for text messages also instead of just for when a contact calls. It also has EV-DO (Evolution Data Only Rev.0) which means that V-Cast is available on this phone as well as an MP3 player. The phone has a MicroSD Slot located at the top which can use up to a 1 gig card to store pictures, Video, and songs. The phone can make playlists for the songs, organize photo albums for the pictures and catagorize all types of media on the phone to your liking. WIth 40 megabytes of internal memory you will have plenty of space to due whatever you want without having to worry about space left on the phone. The Camera Quality is amazing on this phone. I have taken pictures with it and copied them to my computer and used them on flyers and webpages. When set on High for quality you can compare it to many digital cameras. It has different effects that you can apply to the pictures aswell, making creativity an option for everyone. This phone is what motorola should produce more of and you will find in owning this phone that you will have great coverage everywhere (network dependant of course)

Lives up to LG's Standards and Quality
This Phone is the perfect combination of Substance, Size, Stlye, Easy of use. The phone has just about anything you could ask for from a phone. The Audio Player is setup to use WMA files syncronized through Windows Media Play with the puchase of a Music Essentials Kit. You can get around this by enabling the MP3 Player function in the service menu and reassign the front buttons to activate it instead of the Audio Player. You retain all the VZW Media Player functionality in doing this. The phone has great battery life and can get you through a day of high volume calling using the bluetooth headset and a little music listening aswell. As with most LG phones the vibrate function almost defeats the purpose by causing almost as much noise as the ringer. The upside to this, is that you know you will feel it almost eveytime. The Ringer is loud and clear, notifying you of a call effectively. The internal memory of the phone is about 35 megabytes giving you room to store your ringers, pictures, and videos. It also has the added functionality of a MicroSD Slot allowing increased capacity for songs, pictures, and videos. The Reciever sensitivity is less than I expected on this phone but it will still do the job, just not in the remote locations that some may visit were network coverage is spotty. With the added feature of EV-DO, this phone is offically a V-Cast Phone, allowing you to enjoy mobile content on the go anywhere within the V-Cast coverage area. This can greatly enhance the enjoyability of the phone. Overall I give this phone a 4 out of 5 simply because I find Motorola Phones to be superior to other phones. I am reviewing this phone because I have owned it for about 4 weeks but then returned to my Motorola E815 simply because it will work in the places that I need it to. A great phone for the kids or anyone looking for an inexpensive multimedia enabled phone. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will assist you to the best of my ability.
