The mountain in Upstate New York that has sheltered my family since 1754 is named 'The Helderberg', a Dutch translation of which is rendered as 'Bright Mountain.' From rustic cabins, Colonial farmhouses and modern homes my family devoted their lives to the land, and from the American Revolution to modern day Iraq, our family has fought in every major war of the American Colonies and the United States. It was only fitting that I pay homage to the mountain by incorporating it into my business name.

I'm a lifelong stamp collector who has turned his hobby into a profitable business. Because of my love for this great land, my choice to deal in stamp issues of America keeps me in contact with our brilliant heritage and ideals.
