Not for the heavyweights!
Though I wouldn't trust it for a full-size all metal handgun, it's OK for handling a lightweight Revolver or Sub-compact up to 3", or a Bowie Knife, Anything Under around 20oz. For more weight, I suggest "2" of these, or get a More powerful magnet.
