Not up to the Task
These headphones are not up to the task. I ride the DC subway to work everyday and needed some headphones that would hush out the train as well as the other passengers. These do not do it. Other that the normal noise that's canceled out when you put on the "closed ear" style, the rest of the noise is still there. The train still invades my shows on my PSP. Also, they are a little narrow for me and I don't believe I have large ears.
