FREE: Why do we jump for things when they are FREE ? Why do we have an irrational urge to jump for a FREE item even if we don’t want it ? Perhaps the answer is that most transactions have an upside and a and a down side.

Free gives us such an emotional charge that we perceive what is being offered as immensely more valuable than it really is…hmm why is this? Humans are intrinsically afraid of loss, . The real allure of FREE is tied to this fear.. There is no visible possibility of loss when something is FREE But what if we chose something that is not FREE…hmm now there is a possibility of loss. And so given the choice we go for what is FREE.Now that having been said, Hence Ebay…I usually offer something for FREE in my listings. My hobbies, spending way too much time thinking about things like the above. I am active in water sports, paddling oc1 open ocean, swimming and cooking.
