What started out as a hobby many years ago while working as head meat cutter and eventually department manager in a retail grocery store quickly turned into a full time business that we operated for 20 years while raising our kids. The kids are now grown and gone and as far as the meat processing goes we're back to hobby status. I decided to use the industry connections made over the years to build a new business selling meat processing supplies. Our customers include home processors, game processors, restaurants, and lots of folks trying to get a start. I have lots of experience cutting, processing, packing, curing, and smoking all kinds of meat. I have made many varieties of fresh and smoked sausage. I have made smokehouses from old refrigerators and fuel tanks to custom designed and built from scratch steel houses capable of smoking several hundred lbs of product. I ship 5 days a week. Mon-Fri. Sometimes on Saturday but no promises on that one. A couple of words about free shipping. Free shipping is free for whom? Last time I looked the postal service and UPS were still charging. I suppose I could do like alot of others and sell for 6 dollars a 3 dollar item that ships for 3 dollars and climb up to the rooftop and shout FREE SHIPPING!!, but I don't think my customers are that easily fooled. I prefer to keep prices fair and shipping calculated by the service. Trust me there is no free shipping. I don't charge handling fees for domestic shipping. I like flat rate boxes! If you are ordering several items from my store you can request an invoice at the ebay checkout and if i can get it in a flat rate box and it saves shipping charges then that's how your order will be charged.
