All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I started making jewelry and pottery many years ago in high school. Today I still make jewery, and I now also make kiln-fused glass. Some of my glass I use in jewery, and some is decorative art objects. I prefer to make one-of-a-kind objects.

I started making jewelry and pottery in high school. In college, I continued studying both these fields, but eventually dropped pottery. Later I took Gemological Insitute of America home-study courses and earned certificates in Colored Stones, Gem Identification, and Diamonds. About 10 years ago I became interested in glass work, and taught myself to make kiln-fused glass objects. My earlier studies in pottery helped me a lot when I started working with glass.
Long ago, when I started into arts and crafts work, computers and eletronic connections did not exist so it was easy for me to concentrate on my handcrafts.
Pinecones! I collect these on my mountain property. This started as fire mitigation and general safety (get the round things out of my steep paths), but also gives me a peaceful outdoors activity.
