Bachmann N Scale B&M BOSTON AND MAINE EMD GP40 Diesel Loco #313. Analog DC. NEW!

Bachmann Much Improved...Excellent N Scale Model
Bachmann has truly upped their game with their latest version of the GP40. Super quiet, super smooth, and amazing slow speed ability. They got it right and at a good price as well. A great model for advanced hobbyists to build a fleet, and perfect for novices to upgrade their train set locomotive.

Ear Candy.....Music To Put A Smile On Your Face!!!
If you are a big fan of the Grateful Dead, there is no doubt that "Truckin' Up To Buffalo" will be well received, and is a must for your collection. If you are not fully familiar with the band, this two-disc set may actually make you a fan. It's that good! Released by Rhino Records, this album captures the Grateful Dead live in concert in an uninterupted format. And what a performance it is! The sound is fantastic...just close your eyes and imagine yourself in the front row...the setlist of songs are vast, and the audience cheering along makes everything come together. In there past there have been several "live" Grateful Dead albums released to the public. However they have, for the most part, captured the band fairly early in their career. "Truckin' Up To Buffalo" is different, and features the band at the height of their popularity and commercial success in 1989, and not only does the band perform their long-loved favorites, they offer several then new top radio hits. The songs offered here indeed span the band's career. Some of the highlights include "Looks Like Rain", a hard driving "U.S. Blues", the ever-popular and fantastic sounding "Touch of Grey", and the very modernistic and sci-fi sounding "Drums/Space" drum solo and sound effects portion of the concert. But the lesser known "I Will Take You Home" sung by the band's late keyboarist, stands out greatly, as a dreamy and deep hearted lullabye to his baby daughter. Rhino Records even put effort into the packaging. Included is a small fold out giving a fun description of the particular concert in question, as well as a few pictures of the band and a couple of fans. There is no foul language whatsoever during the performance...a rarity in this day and age of hard-core rock and gangster rap, so parents can give give this set to kids without any worry. In fact, many kids may actually enjoy this music, with its upbeat tempo, and singalong lyrics. All in all, this Grateful Dead offering is ear candy at its best, perfectly capturing Jerry and the boys doing what they did best. Your music collection will be lacking if you don't include this gem!!!

NEW Italeri 1/144 ATR 42-500 1801S
Jun 14, 2018
A small but nice model kit.
I built the Italeri ATR when it first came out. I build 1:144 airliners so the size of this matches what I have. With that said, be prepared to build a small model. It is smalll....very small. But despite that, it goes together easily and looks nice once completed. Details are excellent, fit is good, and decals look nice. My only complaint is that if you want to build it with moving propellers, you can only place them on the shafts....no retaining bolts. Thus you have to be careful not to let them fall off. If you want them permanently fixed to the engine shafts, you have to glue them into place without being able to spin. Other than that, this kit makes for a fun little two day building project.
