Pressed wood always looks like pressed wood.
I guess what you pay for.
The item looks better than it is in the picture. However, I didn’t want to pay a lot and it’s not a central piece in my home. I was surprised at how cheap it looked. It came with directions was easy to assemble so I liked that.
