Canaan Realty resort property sales and vacation home rentals was started in 1970 by Charles and Betsy Reed. Their son, Cary Reed, bought the business in 1985 when his parents retired. Cary and his wife, Laura, own and operate the business at its original Mirror Lake location in Canaan Valley, West Virginia
