MMADFROGSHi, what'e are mmadfrogs Q: What are MMADFROGS? A: mothers making a differnece families relying on God We are a group of moms who work together to make our lives better, more fun, and someitmes just to make them possible. We all met in a small islolated town in the High-Sierras where it's hard to get the stuff and sometimes support you need to raise a family. Most of ous work in some kind of party based home based business and we're pretty good at networking. When one of our firends daughters needed expensive medicine not covered by thier inusrance and at the same time her dady (our friends husband) was injured at work and then layed-off, we decided to have a yardsale to raise money. We raised a bit, but we also discoverd that we all had stuff that other people needed and little bits of time that we could offer to help. The cool part too was that the family we were tying to help, actually was able to offer tons of help to other families.

We all love helping families. It 'fills our cup' as Mary says. We each have our own 'pet-projects' too. For example, Shelley's really is a PET-Project. She and her boys take in animals that need home. They started by taking in an abused puppy, then a few rabbits. They were taken in by a few stray cats, and most recently four Parakeets have captured their hearts. Over the years they have had hte company horses, sheep, goats, lots of cats, an owl, a squirrel, and I'm not sure what else. All of their adoptees (except Zelda the cat who is just about perfect, or should I say Purrfect) have unusual personalties. Really. My favorite is probably the Simeese cat who truely has multiple personalties. Some of the pets stay with the family forever and others find new fabulous homes. Mary has a Knack for helping families and loving on their kdis while their parents work away from home. She provides childcare through a local program that helps families in need. She has the biggest heart ever!
